Growing up playing in the GAA, I experienced for myself the strain that a player goes through balancing sports, school/work, and just day-to-day living. We perform in many different avenues on a day-to-day basis, and this can be a challenge in itself.
Through my experience in sport and with my work in sport, exercise, & performance psychology, I know that your mind can either help or hinder you in those challenges you face.
I am passionate about enabling individuals and teams to enjoy the process of pushing their mental and physical boundaries in sport, exercise, and in every walk of life.
I believe that each and every one of us has a a potential to perform more consistently and find joy in our performances by building awareness our internal processes (thoughts and emotions) and how these affect us on and off the field.

Growing up playing soccer in Sweden and D1 soccer in The US, I know what it’s like to balance sports, school, work and everyday life. You might think that they are all separate avenues of performance, the truth is that it’s all intertwined.
I realized early what an influence your mind has on your performance. I found it very fascinating that performance could fluctuate as it did, without my actual physical abilities changing.
I have first hand seen and experienced the value of mental skills training as an athlete and through my work with sport and exercise psychology.
I believe that the first step to improving any performance is by becoming self-aware. What you don’t know you don’t know and just as we can develop our physical abilities we can develop our mind.
What we do at The Space in Between is more than mental skills training for athletes, it’s applicable to everyone to transform their everyday life.
